With much fanfare, I bought and unboxed my very first action camera: a GoPro Hero 7 Black. Things did not go smoothly as I charged the battery, updated the firmware, and otherwise got it set up. I ran into all kinds of glitches and issues that confused me. But I powered through. All of that is in the previous video.

The next day, I took my brand new GoPro outside into the world to use it for the first time – and disaster struck. It appeared to be defective. That set me off on days of trying to fix it and getting it replaced. The culprit? Maybe the firmware update.
