Yesterday was a pretty relaxing day. I needed to do some preparations for my trip to Kuala Lumpur. Nothing major, but I have to do a bit of planning to make sure that I bring everything with me that I need. And my clothing was very smelly. I didn’t want to inflict my funk on people at the airport, so I needed to do some laundry. I took care of most of that in a very short time, and I hung all my clothes out to dry. Luckily, my portable bucket is still hanging in there. I was super annoyed after I bought it to find out that the glue holding it together was helpless against the heat of Indonesia. It promptly turned to goo and the whole bucket fell apart. I put it back together with some kind of powerful seam sealer that I have in my extensive tool kit, and I’m able to use it to do laundry all the time.

After my clothes were out in the sun drying, I threw on some shorts and a tank top and went down to the gorgeous beach. I walked until I was exhausted and explored all kinds of interesting areas. As before, I didn’t even bother to take my Olympus OM-D E-M5 with me. I just took pictures with my phone. For pictures of the beach, ocean, sky, palm trees, and boats, my phone is more than adequate.
